My 4x4 hilux makes a scraping noise in the RH front wheel above

My 4x4 hilux makes a scraping noise in the RH front wheel above 40kph.I have removed the brake disc no stones .It appeared after using*****briefly .When 4xdrive engaged and backing up with steering lock applied the drive train appears to lock up and will stall the engine at normal low revs many attempts have been made to disengae the front wheel loc outs. 4xdrive engagement lever works normally any ideas Cheers Dale

The hubs come in two types - manual lockers where you have to get out and turn a thing in the centre of the hub or auto lockers where you don't do anything they lock when you go into 4wd .
Which version do you have?

These are autoloc type just pull the 4x4 lever and its working Cheers Dale

It looks like you are having some problems with getting it out of 4wd too - would that be right?
