have honda 2007 euro accord auto 170ks has occassional small shudder at low revs 2nd gear ,just found out regular mechanic did not change oil at 150000 as dictated in service book ,could oil change and flush rectify or could it be something other than gearbox

Hi .
Yes a good flush and fluid change could make a big difference and worth
doing . if still experiencing the same problem have a diagnostic scan done to check for transmission malfunction codes,and check the fluid line pressure .A good local transmission shop can do this ..
But if any problem with the management system on your Honda the "D" will start to flash .if it does then have a scan tool hooked up for a malfunction code test ..
