I have a 98 Holden Rodeo powered by an Isuzu 1800 turbo diesel (4jb1) engine. The ute had 200,000 ks when I bought it 3 years ago and has now done 360,000. I change the oil every 5,000 and it has never missed a beat. It is verry economical and burns no oil and does not blow excesive smoke. It is just so loud! It rattles like an old tractor. I get complaints from Drive through bottle shops and take away food joints. my nieghbors hate me. On investigation I have found the first bolt on the exhaust manifolt to be broken off. I dont think this is the cause of so much "Rattling" sound but an not sure. I love the old girl and she has never once let me down but i only paid 5,000 for the ute so dont want to spend a lot of money that I may never get back on it. any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers, Jason.
