This can be caused by a dirty throttle body has this been cleaned for this issue ?
Yes I double checked it (it had a minor service about a month ago as a similar problem cropped up where the air intake valve was stuck open)
Ok the next step would be to disconnect the battery and clean the throttle plate and throttle body and reconnect the battery and road test.Let me know if this fixes or helps the issue.
I wasn't able to do that myself, so I have used some de-greaser. So-far, with one trip, I haven't had an issue. As I mentioned above, I have had a problem similar to this about a month ago, is there some thing I can do to stop this from happening again?
Yes you would need to perform a top engine service this will stop the excessive carbon build up on the throttle plate and stop this from happening. Please do not click helped a little . Needs to be got the job done or higher for me to get credit for my help thanks .
