wagon: everytime pulling up it has a clunk from the back of vechile

I currently have the 01 nissan patrol 4.8 wagon and have an ongoing problem, everytime pulling up it has a clunk from the back of vechile and i keep getting told its common in this vechile?

Has the actual differential been checked for internal damaged?

yes, as far as we know it has all been checked, we were told there was something wrong but as it being under warranty no one wants to tell us whats wrong, it,s been to 4x4 transmissions, we took it to nissan and at first they told us there was a problem and they were going to do the job but after talking to the dealer we bought car from all of a sudden there was nothing wrong with the vechile? I told the dealer that maybe it could be the diff???

Yes it's absolutely the differential. You need to contact Nissan Corperate and have them send an engineer down to diagnose the vehicle properly and replace the differential before its out of warranty . This is the next step. Hoped this helped . Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated .
