while hwy driving got the warning flashing on my dash for adaptive air suspension. stoped at the rest area, restarted the car, no warning. Car kinda looked elevated more in the back than normal especially after hwy speed driving. Got home tried diff options changing the height: offroad, comfort, auto, dynamic, seemed stuck on offroad or comfort and/or auto only showed available, it lowerd the front and lifted back up, back end seems to be stuck in the same high position. Cargo loading option not working in the trunk or from MMI. Left the car overnight, found it sitting in the same position with no sign of air bleed from the system. So I went to Audi Dealer to get VAS PC diagnostics, results are: 34 level control system, 4L0910553e, Coding: 15520, 004.01 check event mem: 3 malfunction detected: 01577 Switch-off due to excessive temp. 001 Upper limit exceeded Intermittent 01400 Level Control System 001 Upper limit exceeded Intermittent 02250 Function deactivation valve switch-on duratiopn 001 Upper limit exceeded Intermittent They suggest I need air compressor 4LO698007C AND RELAY 4H0951253A replacement.
They try to upsale like always, need a second opinion. Would like to troubleshoot the leveling sensor or the valves before the big expence of air compressor. It seems I have no air loss, if the compressor is not running how the car sits so high? When restarted the dynamic is available but when selected the car is not lowered. Need more explanation on how it works Thanks
