Good afternoon. I have a 1998 Audi a$. It did not start today. I tried jumping the battery but it still will not start. I do get a clicking noise. It i a manual transmission.
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: Nope
JA: What is the model of your '98 Audi?
Customer: a4
JA: Are you fixing your A4 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Hello, I'm Brandon - Audi tech.

Your battery is empty and has a dead cell. No amount of jumping will just start the car.

You have to replace the battery with a new unit. I would recommend the Duarlast Gold battery from autozone. It is 3 years warranty.
