Audi Shakes Badly On Reverse or When Stationery.

Customer Question

2009 Audi A4 Quattro shakes badly either when reversed or when stopped at a red light. I changed the spark plugs, oil, brakes, rotors and shakes but no change. The car has completed 103,000 miles.
What is the problem?

This could be caused by a misfire. Is the engine light on?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
The engine light came on for about a day then went off
Expert:  Dan replied 6 months ago.

You should get this scanned for any codes and let me know what you find, you can take to any parts store for a free scan.

The rattling went away that was my mistake.
But still cant figure out the shaking i have a 2009 Audi a4 quattro 2.0T engine 103k miles on it
Expert:  Dan replied 6 months ago.

These engines have issues with the high pressure fuel pump and cam follower, it can cause a rattle and a vibration at idle.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
what do i need to do to fix this problem
Expert:  Dan replied 6 months ago.

Remove the valve cover and high pressure pump, inspect the camshaft lobe and cam follower on the pump.
