Customer Question

chasing electrical gremlins. plus a weird engine operation, when I put in clutch and release the gas pedel the rms jump up and then fall.
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: No clutck is 20k on it. had to replace because of bad release bearing that sent a piece of metal into the presser plate causing it to go fully adjust out.
JA: What is the model/year of your Audi?
Customer: 2002 2.7t
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, also getting a miss fire on cylender 2. repalced coil pack and plug.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I also think I may have a vaccume leak but not sure because of the diverter valve. this may not be worth you time. The car is old and Just need 2 more years out fo it.

One possible cause for this idle concern is a dirty throttle body.
