My tt overheats but no heat inside of car. Brand new water

Customer Question

My tt overheats but no heat inside of car. Brand new water pump, timing belt. The fans come on at 107° and the thermostat opens. ???
JA: What confuses you?
Customer: What could this be?
JA: How many miles are on the timing belt? Have you ever had to change it before?
Customer: Just did, still at the garage.
JA: What is the model/year of your Audi?
Customer: 2003 1.8 litre roadster.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes my brother owns a garage and we are all mechanics in the family. I changed the timing belt, water pump, full kit.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Yes...that I am pulling all my hair out with this!

all these symptoms are pointing to a cracked head or a failed head gasket. Have you preformed a combustion leak test?
