Customer Question

Right headlight went out. Wired around to make it work. Was told that that caused some circuit board to fry. $1185 later, car came home same light out except when mechanic moved the board some. He needs another $759 to buy a new board. I am feeling that if I let him do the work he is ripping me off. Could this be a bad ground. A3 2006.
Thanks

Hello, I'm Brandon.

Did he change ballast resistor? Looks like he did not do his work by diagnosing what is wrong with the light.

This is not your fault.

Yes, a bad ground could cause it.
