Customer Question

I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t. I had to rebuild the engine and I would get low oil pressure that would start at 50 or 60 then drop to 12 psi. So I ended up pulling the engine and did the crank and bearings and new oil pump. Everything was rebuilt. After installing my oil reading is at around 12psi when the car is started. My tensioner is making a noise now

Why would the pressure start at 12psi instead of jumping to 60 psi and then drop?
