i have audi A6 2005 model AUK engine
this car had engine miss fire few days ago. and i have replace 2nd hand ignition coil and it was smooth running till another two coil damage together.
so my question - why the coil get damage often ones we start replacing
- or do i need to change all together (new)or(2nd hand)
- or 2nd hand coil will damage the other coil
- or bad spark plug
pls let me know today and i am waiting

thanks. jude palitha
Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX always replace all the coild when one goes bad, if the others are original, they are on their way out too, and usually fail pretty quickly after replacing the others, also, I would replace the plugs, as a worn plug will generate hotter spark, and this can cause premature failure of the coils, as the gap brings up higher resistance,Tim

hi tim

this ignition so expensive to replace 6 coil together as my customer request

so is there any other models can suite for this. or any other type for this ?

No, they need to be for this model, alot of different models share this same coil, but they will be the same price, I really dont use 2nd hand coils on these as you never know what you are getting,Tim
