I have a 04 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro that has some oil in the spark plug tubes. I'm guessing I'm needing to replace the valve cover gasket? Also there is some oil leaking from the back of engine onto the garage floor. Should I order a gasket kit that has a cam seal kit also? Is one kit better than another? Help...Thanks. James.

Hello ,Here to answer automotive questions and make you feel comfortable and become familiar with your productYes, you will need to replace the cam chain tensioner gasket, seal and the V/C gasket. This is a very common leak on all Audi engines.try http://www.blauparts.com/come with very good directions on how to minimize further leaks when completing the job.There are some special tools involved if you do not have them and the cam needs to come out however there is a trick so that the cams do not need to be removed. but you still need the tool.just check the website and contact them for the tool. let me know when you are ready to start the job I can walk you through it.
