Hi Roman. last year it had mutiple codes. Cataylic converter(driver side) was replaced. Then it read 02 sensors. Replaced all four. After converter was replaced it would sound like a gun shot whenever I would shift gears at around 3500 or more rpms. Last month it started giving code reading Evaporate. Bought original Audi fuel cap. Mechanic replaced vacuum hoses thinking maybe leaking. Light still on(Evaporate) now he says that I have to replace both EGR valves. Had the MAF replaced. Ive owned this car for three years. Its running a little better now than before but its still not performing its best. Please help. Dont want to give up on my Audi but Im running out of money.
you will need to have the current logged faults read out, this is the only way to start a proper diagnosis. it sounds like the mechanic is just replacing random parts. (guessing). If you go to a pep boys or similar shop you can have the codes read out and list them here. I need to see the Pxxxx codes
