2002 Audi A4 quattro 1.8T- 59,800 miles; sudden decrease in power while driving 15 miles (seemed it wanted to stall) and car now sluggish. Problem codes read P0300 and P0302. Only other issues is oil level light showed a few miles prior, but when I pulled over it was only at low normal; same thing happened a week ago and added a slight amount of oil and light also went off. Appreciate any guidance-like DIY but if it is safe to drive 25 miles to mechanic if necessary.

Welcome to Just Answer!!for the 2 faults you have triggered check the ignition coils these are very common to cause the issue , on the oil light issue this is a very big common issue for this engine more then likely you will need to have the oil pan dropped and replace the oil pump pick up tube more then likely you have oil sludge clogging the pick up tube . I hope this helps.Your positive feedback and bonuses are greatly appreciated thank you !!

Thanks for the reply. Does the P0302 code tell me that it is likely coil 2, or should I replace all? Also, do you feel it is engine safe to drive a few miles for a day or two.?
If the light keeps coming on do not drive it you may cause damage to the engine do to low oil pressure , yes more then likely cylinder #2 if thats the only fault cylinder you get replace that one also check the spark plug while your there. I hope this helps.Your feedback and bonuses are greatly appreciated thank you !!!!!

Got a replacement ignition coil for now from parts store, replaced it and works like a charm. Appreciate your expertise.
