Audi A6: diesel Turbo..run for about 1 noisy minute....is

My Audi A6 3.0 diesel Turbo - 239 Horse Power - When i have stopped the car and removed the key - the fan in the motor room is still running. It will run for about 1 noisy minute....is that normal ?

Does this happen when the car is cold also ??

Ok more then likely this is normal because the fan stays on to cool the engine down a bit , if the fan stays on longer then a minute after shut down or when the engine is cold then you will need to make sure you have no faults in the ecm but at this point the vehicle is running correctly .
