Audi a6: warning light..the abs..ignition coil..cruise control

Customer Question

Hi my audi a6 has a triple warning light fault - the abs and esp lgihts are on and the ignition coil light is flashing. Also the cruise control is not working when these lights are on (this morning). Yesterday the lights were off and the cruise was working. Seems to me this is an intermittent electrical fault? IS it dangerous to drive? What do you think the problem is and how much effort to fix?

The first thing you will need to do is have the trouble codes checked in the abs control module the lights are on because there has been trouble codes stored in the control module . Its hard to say what and how much it will cost you without knowing the trouble codes to provide you a estimate on the repair . The most common for abs lights are a wheel speed sensor but have the faults checked first and it will give you a better understanding on what the issue is. I hope this helps.
