Hi thereI have an Audi TT Roadster1999. Recently I sent the instrument cluster away to the Uk to be repaired, unfortunately it has been stolen in transit so I am left with a car that cant go anywhere. As I live in Australia & these clusters are hard to get hold of I have purchased one on ebay in the UK.What I need to know is if this cluster would be able to be reprogrammed to my car as the cluster is from a Audi Tt 2002 225bhp it looks almost identcal in style. if it cant i will then have to by a new cluster which is very expensive here.RegardsSally

Sally,
I am sorry to here your misfortune with the instrument cluster. If you give me the vin number of your car and the part number of the cluster I can tell you if it will fit or not. I have a feeling it will not though because the later TT's have immobilizer built into the cluster which if I remember correctly the early TT's do not. Also the cluster would need to either have Driver information display or not depending on what your car is optioned with. Another note is you would need to find one with less mileage. The mileage can always be "bumped" up but never reduced at least thats how it is here in the U.S.
