Ok.

Daytime Running Light Bulb, Replacing

CAUTION:

  • HIGH VOLTAGE.
  • Always disconnect negative ( - ) battery terminal prior to working on parts of HID headlamp components marked with yellow "HIGH VOLTAGE" warning symbols.

Removing

  • With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire.

Left headlamp - vehicles with 6-cyl. Gasoline engine:

  • Remove reservoir for power steering.
  • Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.

  • Turn socket counter-clockwise - arrow - and remove from headlamp housing.
  • Remove lamp from socket.

Installing

CAUTION:

  • Do not touch glass portion of bulb with bare hands. Even the smallest amount of moisture and/or contaminants from fingers that evaporates on the bulb during operation can cause the glass to cloud over.

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

  • Insert new bulb into housing, do not touch glass cone with bare hands.
  • Secure socket by turning clockwise.
  • Close housing lid.
  • Connect battery. Required actions.

I cannot see the image you have attached. When I remove the reservoir for power steering and the cover plate there is some type of mechanism in front of the bulb. What do i do with it?
Expert:  marcpod replied 4 years ago.

I will send the picture for you its a cap that needs to be taken off.
