i need to know how to change the fuel pump on my 94 audi 80e and whether or not an pump from a quattro will fit it

Model: 80 e

Already Tried:
car broke down, called roadside assist they tested the fuses,and they were ok then listened to see if the pump was working,it did not sound like it, then he sprayed some fuel into the air intake hose and it started and then stopped, please help

it is actually a 94 ag/b4 performance. also can you tell me where the fuel pump is because i have taken the tank out of the ag/b4 and i think it is in the tank
