If you aren't doing the repairs yourself it probably isn't worth it. If you can find an inexpensive mechanic and a good used transmission on www.car-part.com then I'd say yes.

If you don't want to continue fixing it you can still probably get a few thousand dollars from the car for somebody on craistlist.

Is it paid off, how many miles on the car? Who's been doing the repairs?
