HOW DO YOU WIND BACK AUDI A6 REAR PARKING BRAKE CALIPER ?
Hello and welcome to Just answer.com, Super mechanic here. About your vehicle.

I have done them that way. You will want to put a pair of needle nose pliers in the little notches on the caliper piston and turn them in while you squeeze the piston in with a pair of channel lock pliers.

You can go a little at a time turn some and squeeze some, (if possible at the same time) but if you don't have an assistant, the best way is turn, squeeze until they are in all the way.

Looks like it takes the tool. I was trying giant channel locks and the needle nose and wasn't making progress. I just talked to a friend who said some of the common parts stores have the caliper compression tool so I'll see if I can track one down.

Thanks again for your help.

I wasn't aware that you had tried the plier method. You didn't have to accept, but thanks. Let us know if we can ever help you again, good luck and again, thanks
