Hi Saleh,

.

I have been going through every list and database I have access to and I cannot find any information on an artist with that exact signature. I've checked artist lists, auction records, etc. Judging by how long your question has been posted, I'm sure every other expert ran into a similar issue.

.

Really, that's not entirely uncommon. Out of the thousands of artists dating back centuries, very few have even really been recorded. You have artists that are hobbyists, students, and even professionals that just never get in the right market to have their names recorded.

.

It could also be what's called factory art, which is basically where you have art studio (usually overseas) and you essentially have a number of artist creating similar works and signing "western" style names to them. Then they were sold through home decor, stylists and even some galleries.

.

Given the photos and notes on it, it's most likely an unknown artist rather than "factory art". The style is great....I just can't find a match to the name of the artist.

.

That doesn't mean it can't be valued. If you'd like, I can analyze and place a value based on the likely age, style, etc. This is similar to what would be done in a gallery with any "unknown" or "lesser-known" artist. I'll be more than happy to do that. I know you were wanted more history on the artist rather than a value.

.

It's possible you could contact an appraiser to try and authenticate it. I can understand if you'd rather have it done in person. That way the appraiser can inspect the technique, the canvas, the quality etc..... far better than I can do online through a picture on a computer screen.
.
For that, some of the best organizations are:

For authentication, you may also try:

.

I could place a possible value based on the style and comparing it to similar contemporary work. It would be a very very rough ballpark, but I would be happy to do it.

Hi Saleh,

I cannot contact the seller on Ebay. If you bought it from the seller, then I suggest you contact the seller. The odds are if the seller knew the answer to your questions, they would have included it in the description of the list. To be honest, just because the artist painted someone from Saudia Arabia, it doesn't necessarily mean they were involved with the family in any way. I agree the painting is by a western, most likely American artist. It could very well be a piece done by a student in art school and they were working from a photograph and created the painting as a school project. As an art student, I've worked from photographs all the time.

.

There isn't much more I can tell you about Signet Art. I do not have any kind of professional relationship with them, but I do know they appraise and authenticate art. I have no idea what they charge. If you email them and explain what you're looking for, I'm sure they can give you and idea of what they could help you with and what they would charge.
