I disagree with your evaluation of the Norman Watch. The Norman was only produced for a few years, in the 40s.

The watch that was made by Hamilton model the Norman was made in the 1940's but marked Hamilton on the face and had 19 jewels. Watches marked Norman on the face was made in many different styles both in men and women styles from the 1940's well into the 1980's. Thanks Mike

Men's watch is marked
NORMAN 17 jewels,
has a gold rectangled beveled face, with smaller second hand face at bottom. Red and white stones around face and on band
Expert:  ncsunburst replied 11 months ago.

Hi, Yes I seen your watch from your photo I just listed other watches that have the brand name Norman 17 jewels and Swiss marked on the face to show you that the brand Norman was used more than a few years. The watch band that you have was introduced in the late 1950's 1960's. Thanks Mike
