This answer was rated:

I HAVE A 1928 PEACE DOLLAR. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, YOU CAN STILL SEE THE FEATHERS ON FOLDED WJNGS ON THE BACK SIDE.

I ALSO HAVE A 1929 WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLAR IN OBVIOUSLY USED SHAPE.

HOW MUCH ARE THEY WORTH AND WHERE DO I FIND THE MINT MARKS?
Hello and Welcome,
My name isXXXXX am a Personal Property Appraiser and would be happy to assist you with your question.
Your 1928 Peace Dollar is composed of 26.73 grams of .900 silver and .100 copper. The 1928 Peace Dollar is bar far the most collectible and in circulated condition would value between 350-400 dollars.
Your 1929 Walking Liberty Half Dollar would be composed by 12.50 grams of .900 silver and .100 copper. In circulated condition you would be looking at between 18-35 dollars.
Any dents, scratches or any metal wear would detract from the resale value of your collectible coins.
I hope this information was helpful to you today,
Best of luck with your collectible coins,
Any feedback you can leave for my service would be much appreciated,
Thank You,
Frank

WHERE IS MINT MARK ON PEACE DOLLAR LOCATED?

Hello Maria,
If there is a mint mark the letter would be located right near the bas of the tail of the eagle on the back of the coin.
Hopefully the mint mark is not there, as this would mean the coin is more collectible.
If there is a mint mark of an S this would mean the coin is more common and would have a resale value of between 45-55 dollars.
I hope this helps Maria,
Thanks again for any feedback you can leave for my service,
Frank
