I found the information in our paid subscription data bases that compile information , the company that produced the dolls is ABC Worldwide Gifts out of Covina California & it is handcrafted in Thailand. ABC WW Gifts is a non-profit outreach ministry of the American Baptist Chrurches of the Pacific Southwest, helping to help others HELP themselves. The company is 24 years old and no longer active your Doll was more then likely produced in the later part of 1980's. this is MY ebay listing, I just took a guess at what it may be worth. I just wanted to know if I had undervalued it and wanted to know more about it. I could find no other info on it and thought I would come to the "experts" to see if there was more info that I just didn't have access to.
Hello, I see, I also found where these were listed in my paid subscription data bases, there were listing on the dolls from this company. It seems they made several of this type. This organization helped people become independent and self sufficient. I also called a dealer who deals in Dolls, she does Doll shows and Doll Fairs, she said she has sold these before and that the price you have is a good price for them. She said they were more popular and seem more often in the 80's and early 90's.
