Customer Question

Will not drain water because rubber backed throw rug disintegrated into sand like consistency. How do I clear blockage?
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: One day...drain hose is cleared.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Not that I am aware of. How do I find where to clear blockage?

The blockage will be all inside the pump and hose going to the pump on this im afraid.

What you need to do is remove the rear panel of the washer and there in the bottom left corner you will see the pump.

You need to scoop out the water from inside the washer if you can.

Then from there you need to remove the drain pump and the black hose that goes from the pump to the bottom of the drum.

With all this off you can then clear out all the rubber backing from there.

Once its all fully clear refit the pump and sump hose and retry that and im sure this will cure the fault from there and sort it out.
