ok so then the model number is *****

Give me a minute or two to pull up information on this model

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

ok so the unit will spin just not fast enough or it will not spin at all?

And if it does not spin at all does it make any noise when it should be spinning?

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

and is this issue on All cycle or just one?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It is intermittent. It makes more noise than usual now.
The drain and spin cycle worked with small load.
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

ok and how does the agitation mode work?

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

And have you tilted the unit back against the wall and made sure the belt was ok?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Agitation unknown. lower drive belt is in-tact and seem ok
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

on larger load does the unit seem to drain ok ?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
it may have a problem draining because there seemed to be water in the tub as it was having problems
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

ok was it a lot of standing water or just wet clothes as if they had not spun out the water

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
not sure. It was below the clothes basket level not visable from above
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 2 months ago.

ok you are going to always have some water under the inner basket ,that is there to keep the pump seals from drying up and cracking / leaking.

so that is not the issue.

I recommend replacing the Clutch /splutch assembly.

The link below is to the part you will need from a highly recommended company rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau.
They offer a 100% money back guarantee, EVEN ON INSTALLED ELECTRICAL PARTS, for an entire year!
They are the only company to allow returns on installed parts for a refund and offer a FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY!

I suspect that the clutch is slipping on larger loads and that is also where the noise is coming from
