My Bosh dishwasher is not draining.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your dishwasher? And have you run a diagnostic test cycle?
Customer: I don't know how to run a diagnostic test cycle. It is a Bosh, about 15 years old.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If it is simple, but not if it is complicated
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: that's it. It just doesn't drain., It runs ine but leaves a lot of water i the bottom

How is the drain hose connected to your home's plumbing, a garbage disposal, etc?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I don't have a garbage disposal. Just a regular sink which is next to the dishwasher... I don't know if it is actually connected, but the sink is draining just fine.

Can you look under the sink to see where the dishwasher drain line connects to, please?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
If the drain line is a plastic hose, it seems to connect to the sink drain line.

Do you suppose the drain is clogged? Is there a way for me to un-clog it without taking it apart? I wouldn't want to do that myself!

Can you remove the clamp and take that hose loose and see if it is plugged?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
You know I don't think I an do that. Obviously I need professional help with this... sorry! Appreciate you're being there.

I understand, thank you.
