Customer Question

I have an edge star vbr640 beverage cooler. It is giving me an E7 code in the code box at the top. What does this mean
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: we moved from Michigan to Florida. It worked fine when we left and we just plugged it back in. It showed 72 degrees to start and went down to 65 and then this message cam on,
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Well, I don't know what is wrong with it.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and it sounds like it is running. But what does the code indicate.

The E7 error means that the lower zone temperature sensor has failed. It is the sensor that has white wires to the control. The upper sensor has yellow wires. Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!

Actually it was the switch magnet fell off the door. Glued back on and works fine
