In my case there is a 3 prong mount on the side of the compressor that items 12 & 17 plug on to. The 3 prong mount appears to be fixed and unable to go any deeper there?
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 10 days ago.

The three prongs are the compressor Start ,Run and common terminals

The start relay and the overload just slip on to the three prongs.

What is the issue that you are having with the unit?

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 10 days ago.

and what make you think that your issue is the start relay?

or it seems as if you think your issue is the start relay!!

Customer: replied 10 days ago.
It is based on what repairclinic.com suggested it might be. I have taken all these items off and the start relay #2262185 I have in is not one of them?
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 10 days ago.

ok the compressor is it an original compressor or a replacement compressor?

The replacement compressor do not have a Relay /overload they have a PTC start device which is item #16 in that parts break down .

Here is a link to the start device .

I see repair clinic calls if a relay overload ,but the manufacture calls it a start device
