I read your solution for a Viking microwave (vmoc205ss will not heat).
I have a different model. its Viking DRAWER microwave. VMOD241SS. the drawer opens and closes; unit acts normal except it will not heat anything.
could it be the switches as well? ive looked online and found these parts

but I don't know where they are located or how to determine if a particular part is the problem.

If the unit wont heat then the magnetron needs replaced.
