May I please have your model number so I am able to provide you with accurate, model specific information? The tag is usually behind the lower drawer, right on the front of the range.

That is not a good number, it does not look like a GE model number. Can you post a picture of the model tag?

Well, the issue you are having is being caused by a weak igniter and it can be dangerous if used as it is. The igniter is quite easy to replace, though. I just need the model to get you the correct one and instructions.

I'd rather get a G.E. service person in. Im in NYC, MAnhattan. Can you refer me?
Expert:  Kelly replied 4 months ago.

Of course! Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!

You can expect this repair to run about $225 for labor and around $75-150 for the igniter, depending on which one your model takes. If you decided you would like to repair it yourself, just let me know!
