One year-old whirlpool range - oven won't heat. everything

Customer Question

one year-old whirlpool range - oven won't heat. everything else OK. Tried everything in booklet, turned circuit breaker off for 10 min or so. Got message 'F9' when I turned the breaker back on.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Whirlpool is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: mod: xfe510soab, ser r34073375
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I hope to. The oven has probably never been used. We bought the condo one year ago, and the stove was brand new. We have not been here since last April, and the stove has not been used at all since then.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Followed all the instructions, everything seemed normal except no heat. Not sure about 'demo' setting.

It is unusual for this to happen so soon, but it is the most likely cause.
