Go to the display and press the "Heated Dry" button. Press the "Normal" button and then press the "Heated Dry" button. Press the "Normal" button again to reset the dishwasher.

If your dishwasher is dead, the control is very unlikely to be faulty. There is a fuse that is quite common to open, see number 6 in the diagram at the link below.

That fuse is mounted on the control (number 10), and can easily be tested by measuring continuity through it. If it is open, it is, of course, faulty. If you have no meter to test with, I would replace it. Make sure to replace all parts in the kit.
