Yesterday I clean my refrigerator's compressor compartment

Customer Question

Yesterday I clean my refrigerator's compressor compartment and inside also. After I put all back together, the de-froze cycle comes on and the left side front plate stays hot. The frozen and refrigerator is working but the compartment face is hot where the door seal is touching. I tried to unplug it for hour and replug it and it has made no difference. Please help.
JA: What's the make and model of the fridge? And can you guesstimate how old is it?
Customer: It is Kenmore- Model (###) ###-####
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I like to do it my self if I can as I am retired and has limited income source
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Both compartments are working, Ice maker is working except the defroze cycle stays on.
