ge profile slide in electric range with convection and tru temp, proof , self clean was set on convection bake when went out with display reading LOC ON ! unable to clear and door is not locked and oven will not turn on.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: approximately between 5-8'years old can not read model or find any papers with model #
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: No just trying to find out what problem is or if can be corrected by the touch pad which I'm sure it can't be

Hello , were you trying to put it into self clean ?or just locked on its own ? thx randy

I had the oven on to bake and after up to temp and on a while went of and saw LOC On .

door still closes ? can you try and put the stove into self clean ,if it starts ?let it go for 45 seconds or so and then cancel the self clean ...or will the display let you do anything?

have you tried shutting off the breaker for a few minutes..see if it resets?

maybe the board is locked out , is there a padlock symbol on the control panel anywhere?

There is a lock/unlock hold 3 seconds which I did I forgot

try cleaning the control area with the unlock button with rubbing alcohol and then lightly with the pad of your finger lay it on top of that button for 3-5 secs ..not the tip of your finger ..sometimes they can get a film
