I have a jenair 5 element that the elements will not heat however the lights on the knobs come on.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Jenn-Air is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?

JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: While using a large element to boil water I attempted to use the other large element fore cooking after which both went down.

You have lost the L2 side of your power supply. Turn the breaker to the appliance off, even if it looks okay, and back on. Will it then heat?
