Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with your appliance question today. Please wait a few moments while I review your question.
It sounds like you know this is a drain issue because you check the drain trap below the tub and found nothing. That means that either your drain pump is bad, or the pressure switch is bad because it's not reading the water level properly. To know which one is bad, just look at the washer when the error occurs. If the water doesn't completely drain out, then replace the drain pump. If the water did drain out but you're getting the error code anyways, you need to replace the pressure switch in the upper back right corner under the top panel of the washer mounted to the right side wall.
