  1. Does the motor start, even though it does not fill?
  2. May I please have the complete model number from your dishwasher?
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
everything runs except the fill valve (new) does not allow water in
the exact model is unavailable, no serial number where lit indicates, just idiot stickers
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 month ago.

Without an exact model I can only give you basic information. Is that what you are looking for?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
no power at the solenoid
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 month ago.

The power to the solenoid comes from the timer or electronic control, through the flood switch and then to the valve. If you have replaced the valve and the flood switch, that leaves the wiring or control as suspect. Have you inspected the wiring to the control area, especially at the area where the harness bends at the tub?

Expert:  Kelly replied 1 month ago.

When the door is closed, the wire is stretched just a bit and may be breaking the connection.
