JA: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: 7 years
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: JTP30S M2SS
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

In the breakdown at the link below, number 18 is the touch pad. Unfortunately, it comes only with the entire control panel assembly.

I will get you a link to that part. Please allow me just a few minutes. Is the touch pad still working, despite it peeling?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I think works fine. It just looks bad.

Buttons are bubbly. Big black strip peeling off.

I don't think I will order whole control panel. All I wanted was to confirm what I already thought after pulling up the parts diagram.
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 month ago.

Okay, so using an adhesive to stick it back down is not likely a good option at this point.

GE should offer to fix these. Oh, well
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Or at least offer the touch pad separately
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Is there an aftermarket touchpad?
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I saw some online, but not for this model
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 month ago.

That panel is actually showing as no longer available, so the adhesive is your only option, not a great option but at least it won't cost $300 like the panel would have if available! There is no alternative touch pad, unfortunately. The switching matrix for the buttons is very model specific.
