Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with your appliance question today. Please wait a few moments while I review your question.
This unit is an auto defrost unit so you definitely don't need to turn the unit off to defrost it as you said. There is no reason to have to unplug the refrigerator either. When the refrigerator gets down to temperature, everything shuts off until the temperature rises and needs to be turned on to start cooling again so shutting the unit off or unplugging it should never need to be done.
Hello again. I'm just following up because I haven't heard back from you and I see this question is still open and unrated. Is there anything else I can help you with?
