Customer Question

hi! I have a zanussi electrolux zwf1632w , the machine was working fine but yesterday it stopped(The electricity went off) and it did not drain. when I tried to switch it back on the end light was flashing and nothing would stop it. I pushed the start and reset buttons together and it did stop but although I can select programmes the machine does not respond and pressing the start button does not start the cycle. I have also drained the machine manually and cleaned the filter.

Do you have a multimeter or mains tester?

No but the lights do go on

Sounds like you have blown the main pcb up when the power came back on or it caused the power to go out in the first place. Firstly take out the pcb and see if you can see any burn marks on it.

What is the pcb? And how do I take it out?

How come the lights do go on if there is an electrical problem?

The fact that you have power to the frontal printed circuit board does not mean that all components upon it are functioning. I assume you have no error codes showing?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
On my model abive there is no panel in wich errorcodes show
