At the door hinge, usually the lower one, there is a plastic connector. Can you check that connector for any signs of trouble, like discoloration or corrosion, please? There is power there, so be sure to unplug the refrigerator first!

On the back of the cabinet is the main control board, shown as number 801 in the diagram at the link below.
That board will need to be replaced and is available below.
All connections simply unplug and plug in, making for an easy replacement.

Yes, that is what controls that front interface board. The main control is a very common failure but is easily replaced. It comes with instructions, too.
Unplugging it for at least 5 minutes will reset the controls, beyond that there is no way. It is just a problem with the voltage from the main board to the interface control.
