I'm hooking up a GE Dishwasher and I'm trying to find out

Customer Question

I'm hooking up a GE Dishwasher and I'm trying to find out what and if the rubber hose on the side needs to be hooked up
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Less than 10 years old, fairly new. Where would I find the model number, any guess? It's got QR codes on top
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I tightened the drain hose and got that sealed, but it sounded like water was running out of that rubber hose Ok, thanks

The model tag should be on the tub once the door is opened.

Expert:  Kelly replied 9 months ago.

The tag is usually on the left side, right by the rubber door gasket.

I can see that page. I'm trying to hook this up and it sounded like water was running out of that rubber hose when I did a test run. But I have a drain line connected and a metal hose line for water connected.

Are you seeing leaking under the machine? The water runs into the rubber hose on the side from the valve and then to the plastic number 575 and into the tub.
