Is that the 700 Sub Z we talked about that had the sealed system issue?
Let me see if I can find the installation manual. I have not pulled one of those out.
It may be secured at the top for the weight of the door panels but, other than that, it appears to just pull out.
Yeah, it is very heavy!
Oh my......maybe they will help with some of that...maybe....
Wow, I am not sure I would buy Sub Zero!
Oh, great, I keep seeing dollar signs!
Plus cabinet modification.....and the custom panels will need to be custom fit as I am sure they won't swap to the new one.
What was that model number again?
The dryer, please, sorry.
Oh, yeah, definitely. The rear bulkhead is dropped and will cause the drum to be misaligned!
The screw goes in from the back of the machine. Look at the marks on the paint, that will tell you what hole to use.
There should be screws coming in from the back to hold that in place.
Are there other wires, too? What is the model of the dryer, I need to look up the wiring diagram.
Oh crap, sorry, I read right over that. Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!
The white, gray and yellow all go to the door switch, not those terminals.
White goes to COM
Gray goes to NO
Yellow goes to NC
Does that blue one come from the cord terminal?
What number is ***** that blue wire, is it 19?
There should be a ground wire that goes to those smaller terminals on the sensor strips and the blue wire goes to them as well. Put the blue and the ground wire on the bottom terminals.
There should be a rubber boot that goes on the round part to seal against the blower housing.
No, the gray wire goes to the door switch. The ground wire should be green.
It does not attach, it just goes around the plastic part and is held in place when it is put on the machine. Make sure it does not get folded in when the front is attached.
See number 3 at link below.
Woohoo, almost there!
The blue one goes to the sensor strips.
No green wire loose in the bottom or around the area where those strips are?
Either of the two bottom ones, then the ground goes to the other bottom one.
Number 10 is the ground wire for the sensor, it is supposed to be screwed on that front bulkhead.
See link below....
Right where I thought it would be! LOL
To one of the screws on that metal bulkhead.
It just has to be on any metal of the dryer (ground).
No, the clothing just passes over the strips and then the moisture is read by the two wires you just put on.
Should be a small hole to the underside of the dryer cabinet. That allows the door to be opened if the lock fails.
Top of the dryer cabinet, I think in the left front corner but it may be on the right front, it has been a while since I have worked on one of those.
See link below.
Yes, it screws on the edge of the cabinet.
See the attached page
Did you see that page I attached?
Let me see if I can find a pic, one sec....
Right front corner.
It lays flat so it is not in the way of the drum. It screws onto the top panel.
Yes, the board should face the drum.
Back behind, the marks on the back part are from the screw head.
You guys make an amazing team, way to go! :-)
