Second opinion] - My husband was installing our new Bosch

Customer Question

Second opinion] - Hi,
My husband was installing our new Bosch Speed Oven and while lifting he grabbed the oven door and seems to have pulled it out of some track for running. We now can't close the door the latch hits too high and misses the opening in the wall of the oven for it. We are afraid to force it. What can we do to fix the door?
Thanks
Patty

Open the door all the way and look at the hinges.
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
They have a small release
Look closely ti see if one is different ( flipped up)
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
Flip the other one to match
close the door slowly and it should start to line up
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
If not ooen the foor flip both latches and wiggle the door gently until it lines up.
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
When it lines up flip the latches back and clise the door

The door is made so it can be removed for cleaning using no tools.

You may have to experiment to get the feel of it but this will realign the door.

Your user guide should have a section with directions for removing the door
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
Note: to completely remove the door you have to close partially
and pull out
Expert:  machinc replied 6 months ago.
You should not have to force it

Hi thank you so much for your detailed response. But I'm afraid it applys to our traditional Bosch oven. The one he broke is the speed oven, a microwave convection oven combo. Model number HMC87151UC

I will get right back

If this is how your door opens
the problem would be in the hinge area
