At that temperature, I suspect the compressor is not running, likely due to the control issue or an open thermal overload. Do you hear the compressor running?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I can hear it running but the temperature never goes down

Are you certain it is the compressor humming and not a fan?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No but I'm at work now. Not at home. I won't be home until after 5 eastern time.

Okay, well if the compressor is running, that is bad. That means there is a leak in the sealed system and the repair is going to be something you will need to have professionally done and will not be inexpensive. Let me know what you find when you can, thank you. Have a great day at work!
