The celenoid that turns the pump on, on my GE portable dish washer Model # GSC3500D35WW keeps burning out. What keeps causing the celenoid to burn out?

  • Premature failure of that solenoid is usually the result of lower than normal voltage going to it, causing excessive current draw when it is energized. Look for wiri9ng issues at the bottom of the door where the wiring bends around the tub from the control panel. Do you have a meter to test the voltage there when it is energized?
